Masonic Restoration Foundation Symposium

Ohio Masons are invited to attend the 5th annual Masonic Restoration Foundation Symposium, which will be held at the Cincinnati Masonic Center on August 15 – 17, 2014. This national symposium will feature speakers and workshops focused on enabling Masons and Lodges to improve their Masonic experience.   (This will be a Brothers only event; there will not be a ladies program.) Schedule The Symposium will begin with a traditional Festive Board banquet on Friday, August 15 at 7 pm, providing an opportunity to explore the European Masonic custom of combining food and fellowship with Freemasonry.  The workshops will be held on Saturday, August 16 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Attendees will then witness an exemplification of the oldest Masonic ritual used in the United States in the form of a Pennsylvania Master Mason degree.  A Scotch Harmony will finish the day with attendees raising a brotherly tune and glass of good cheer.  The Symposium will conclude on Sunday morning with a town hall forum and presenters’ roundtable. Accommodations The headquarters hotel will be the Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport Hotel, located at 1717 Airport Exchange Blvd, Erlanger, Kentucky.  Busses will be provided to shuttle attendees.  Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at 859-746-5608.  Attendees should request the 2014 MRF Symposium Group Block rate of $92 per night when making their reservations.  This special rate includes two double beds and continental breakfast. Reservations must be received on or before July 25, 2014. Meals The hotel rate includes deluxe continental breakfast each morning for up to two guests per room.  Hotel guests may have a full buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order for an additional charge of $10 per night.  All Symposium attendees will enjoy the Festive Board banquet on Friday.  Lunch will be provided on Saturday as will appetizers during the Scotch Harmony.  Saturday evening will be an opportunity for attendees to sample the many area restaurants on their own.
