Earning a 5-star rating in health care is a true mark of excellence. A 5-star health rating signifies excellent performance and high quality. This top rating reflects outstanding performance across a multitude of areas, including patient experience, quality of care, safety, and service. Awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a 5-star rating is the highest recognition available and signals “much above average” quality in everything from preventive care and chronic disease management to communication and
overall satisfaction.
In Ohio alone, there are more than 900 healthcare centers, yet fewer than 25% achieve a 5-star rating. On a national level, Western Reserve Masonic Community (WRMC) ranks in the top 20%. Jason French, President of WRMC, shared, “I’m incredibly proud of our 5-star rating, and I credit our dedicated staff for making this happen.”
With health and safety needs expertly met, communities like WRMC can focus on what truly enriches residents’ lives—bringing people together through meaningful moments, celebrations,
and activities.
