The weekend of Friday, September 12th through Sunday, September 14th saw a first in Freemasonry in Ohio! Brethren from across the state converged on Canton, Ohio to enjoy a weekend of Fellowship, Blue Lodge Degrees, and Scottish Rite Degrees! Candidates were able to meet and socialize at the Welcome Reception on Friday evening with Degree work starting Saturday morning and ending Sunday afternoon! New candidates were able to receive all three Blue Lodge Degrees to become a fully raised Master Mason. They were then able to go on and discover Scottish Rite Freemasonry by receiving the 4th, 14th, 17th, 19th, 28th, 31st, and 32nd Scottish Rite Degrees! In one weekend, these gentlemen became our Brothers and fully fledged Scottish Rite Masons as well! The Masonic Weekend ended up raising 106 new Master Masons, as well as 125 new Scottish Rite Masons, with just over 530 Masons in attendance. A truly legendary day in Ohio Masonic History!
