My Dear Brethren,
Happy New Year to all!
As I write this article, I am in Florida getting ready to attend the three receptions, sponsored by The Ohio Masonic Communities Foundation. The Grand Lodge Officers, who have journeyed to the warm Florida confines, will be visiting with our Ohio Masonic Brethren and their Ladies. These Brethren are now living in Florida or just visiting to get away from the Ohio winter season. It is always a great time to visit and share the good news about Ohio Freemasonry with our Florida Brethren.
During the month of April, I’ve asked the Lodges in Ohio to hold an open house sometime during that month. The positive feedback received after last year’s open house prompted me to expand the time frame the Lodges could hold one. This change will allow the Lodge to choose the date to fit their schedule during the month of April. Now is the time to start planning for a successful open house. We can share information with our Lodge communities about our great Masonic Fraternity and our organization.
Inspection season is in full swing. If you have not been to Lodge in a while, I encourage you to do so now. Your Lodge Brethren would love to offer the right hand of fellowship and get reacquainted with you.
