Intergenerational Day Camps

The Masonic Youth Outreach Program hosts Intergenerational Day Camps connect youth and residents for a day of meaningful connection and fun. Events took place on July 19th at Browning Masonic Community and July 24th at Western Reserve Masonic Community. The final event will be August 14th at Springfield Masonic Community. Participants enjoy activities such as creating crafts, playing games, and making their own pizzas for lunch. These shared experiences help young people build lasting relationships with residents while developing valuable life skills, including communication, empathy, and respect for older generations. At the same time, the camps have a meaningful impact on participating residents, fostering companionship, joy, and a sense of connection across generations.
