Brother George J. Groewa
Brother George J. Groewa received his 70-year award on December 7, 2025. The award was presented by Right Worshipful Brother Daniel A. Hall, Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

Brother Groewa was born on April 12, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to Bedford, Ohio, he graduated from Bedford High School in 1951 and attended Dyke College, where he served as President of both his Fraternity, Phi Kappa Gamma, and the Student Council. Brother Groewa was also editor of the college newspaper. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1953 and is an Infantry Combat Veteran of the Korean War, serving a total of eight years before being honorably discharged.

Brother Groewa was raised on October 23, 1956, to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Master’s Lodge #675, later becoming a member of Harding Concordia Lodge #345. He is a plural member of Ellbrook Masters Lodge #634. After moving to Solon, Ohio, he demitted from Harding Concordia and became a member of Solon Lodge #757, where he served as Tyler for numerous years. Brother Groewa is also a 65-year member of Royal Arch Chapter Chagrin Falls #152 and a member of the Al Sirat Grotto.
Brother Dean A. Zerkle
Brother Dean A. Zerkle received his 70-year award on December 23, 2025. The award was presented by Most Worshipful Brother Shawn A. Johnson, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

Brother Zerkle was born on Feb 24, 1934, and was raised on March 14, 1956, to the sublime degree of Master Mason in Pharos Lodge #355, which is now Harmony Lodge No. 8 in Urbana, Ohio. He later became a member of Mt. Olivet Lodge #226, of which he is still a proud member.
