Brothers Helping Brothers

Bobbi Schickler, SW Ohio Community Outreach Coordinator, was contacted by one of our District 2 volunteers asking for help with his parents. Bobbi spoke with Jean to assess what their needs were. They had just gotten a new ramp, and it was hard for her to push Rod up the ramp to the house. They needed a scooter or electric wheelchair. Bobbi reached out to several District 2 Masons and was able to locate a scooter that a Mason was willing to donate. She got the two in contact with one another, and within a few days Alex picked up the scooter for his dad. Thank you to the anonymous donor of the scooter – it is being put to good use.

At The Ohio Masonic Communities Resource Center we assess our clients’ unique needs making those connections that are needed. Whether that be back to Lodges, Districts, Chapters, local food banks, SNAP, VA, Area Agency on Aging, and many other resources in their communities. Please reach out to your local coordinator if you or someone you know needs assistance. We are here to help!
