A Brother Paints for His Lodge

By Chad Kopenski, DDGM

The following paintings were done by Michael Wootton, KYCH, for Paramuthia No. 25 in Athens, Ohio. The Brethren were talking after a meeting about the Lodge experience and wishing that they had older trestle boards to use for the lectures or in the preparation room. Worshipful Brother Wootton mentioned that he was a painter and that he loved the images and colors of the older boards. The Brethren asked and he graciously created these original trestle boards for the Lodge to use. They hang proudly in the Lodge room right above Worshipful Brother Wootton’s station as Treasurer. He is currently working on a similar series for the York Rite Bodies that meet at the Lodge hall.
