I hope this letter finds you well and that you all had a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. Our campuses provide amazing opportunities for those looking to retire and live in a community where they will continue to thrive. Our resolute staff works hard every day to meet the needs of our residents across all levels of care.
As always, many exciting changes are happening at The Ohio Masonic Communities, big and small. Western Reserve Masonic Community and Springfield Masonic Community continue to be ranked with CMS as 5-star communities in all aspects of care. This ranking reflects the work being performed and the dedication from our staff to our residents in providing continual quality care. Our music therapy and Connecting Realities Memory Support programs have continued to expand our services, and we are seeing the positive impact on our residents.
In December, we held a groundbreaking ceremony at our Springfield Masonic Community to kick off the largest expansion and repositioning project in the organization’s history. This project will replace our existing healthcare centers and add additional assisted living to help meet the demand for our services. Despite the cold and windy day, the ceremony was very well attended as we welcomed many state and local leaders, the local community, residents, and staff to share our excitement of expansion. We are also in the planning stages for the addition of an outdoor activity space at our Western Reserve Masonic Community.
The future is bright at The Ohio Masonic Communities. As we strive to continue to be recognized as an organization of choice and an employer of choice, we are committed to providing exceptional care and producing exceptional outcomes. With many projects completed and in process throughout the organization, we are dedicated to continuing to move forward in executing our strategic capital plan across all three campuses. I am blessed to collaborate with a team of dedicated staff who continue to strive to provide a positive and compassionate environment for all of those we are given the opportunity to care for. I look forward to sharing the many successes ahead as our organization continues to grow and evolve.
