In August, Browning Masonic Community welcomed a new Executive Director, ShaDonna Hadley. She has a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).
With over seven years of experience in healthcare, ShaDonna has managed several facilities, helping to pull them out of the trenches and ensure residents successfully lived in a safe and thriving environment. Prior to healthcare, ShaDonna worked in criminal justice, serving children and supporting families who needed assistance with custodial services.
“I always clung to the senior population as my great grandparents were integral in my life. When they became ill, it piqued my interest that they needed compassionate voices speaking up for them. I wanted to be my great grandparents’ voice and ensure they were heard. This trickled over to wanting to make sure I could impact several seniors. There can be a tendency for seniors to be dismissed or forgotten and I want to make sure they are able to age with respect, support, and grace.”
