The Masonic Volunteer Program continues to grow throughout the state with 13 Committees and 278 volunteers. New Committees have been formed in the 1st, 9th and 15th districts, with Harold Greenman, Phil Hoffman and Larry Lance as the respective chairmen. A shout out goes to all the volunteers who have been calling our Resource Center community clients during the quarantine. Your calls have been so important to the mental health and well-being of our folks. Volunteers were matched by their Resource Center liaison with clients in their local community and would call them periodically to check-in and inquire as to any need. If a need was found, the volunteer would then contact the Resource Center liaison to coordinate the service using local resources, for example: prescription or grocery delivery, or home delivered meals. There has also been an increase in interest in the Masonic Volunteer Program as Lodges and chapters try to find ways to unite to identify and serve those in need. Thank you to all our volunteers for your support and service to the Resource Center.
