The Masonic year is in full swing. Inspections, events, and gatherings of all shapes and sizes are happening across the state. A select group of men have taken up the mantle of an Ohio Masonic Home Ambassador, and are traveling mile after mile from event to event to help us spread the word. One example, pictured above, is Matt Strehle from Medina Lodge #58, presenting at Ebenezer Lodge #33 (Wooster) during their inspection. In addition to attending events and inspections in their area, these men are charged with being advocates, educators and communicators for the Ohio Masonic Home. Whether it’s a brief two minute blurb about what is available to assist our brothers and their families in need or a half-hour presentation at a widow’s dinner, these men have gone above and beyond the call of duty. We currently have forty-two ambassadors serving across the state. If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve our brothers, please contact Jesse Pertee (info below). It is not a big time commitment, and many of our ambassadors work it into their normal Masonic travels.
